Atmospheric grand master Okee returns to Codename: RCRDS with two stunning new tracks, which are complemented by reworks from label co-owner Moakz and rising stars Missen.

The EP opens with the title track ‘Soul Temptation’, a sublime jazz-inflected which has all the hallmarks of a classic Okee piece – classic vocals, beautifully precise breaks, percussive bass fills and warm synths and tones.

‘If You Believe’ moves things into a deeper direction, encouraging the listener to believe in its refined combination of stabbing bass, catchy vocals, haunting atmospheres and intricate synth work.

Moakz pushes the track further on his rework of ‘If You Believe’, stripping back elements to pursue a darker edge with the pounding bass brought to the fore alongside chunky deep breaks interspersed with snappy think breaks, before Missen close the EP with their uptempo rework of ‘Soul Temptation’, which retains the soulfulness of the original whilst pushing things further into a bouncier dancefloor direction with it’s locked groove and tightly knitted drums.
