Following the closure of the ‘Drifting Rose’ series, Codename: RCRDS commence a new trilogy of Various Artist releases with Distant Journeys EP, which once again sees the label bring together a selection of the finest talents in the Atmospheric DnB scene.

Continuing on from his stunning ‘Sun At Midnight EP’, Label regular NonRev opens the EP with the sublime roller ‘So Too Shall Pass’, full of atmospheric chants and driving rhythms.

The EP continues with Moakz’s gorgeous ‘All The Things’, where elegant strings combine with beautiful bell tones, giving way to evocative and wistful vocals guaranteed to get those hairs tingling.

Mineral contributes the sublime stepper ‘Abstract Motions’, with evocative pads and melodies combining with deep rumbling bass and his crisp clean production providing a stunning example of the Helsinki producers trademark sound.

The EP closes with a debut track from Pathfinder, which sees previous Codename: artists Missen and newcomer Tennant join forces for a beautiful dreamy vocal number which switches things into amen territory for its latter stages to close the EP on a stunning high.
